HUD’s New HCV Landlord Resources Webpage Contains Wealth of Information
The U. S. Department of housing and Urban Development has created a new Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) landlord resources webpage. The webpage includes fact sheets that can be used by PHAs to give to landlords, including a “HCV Fact Sheet for Landlords,” “Steps to Become an HCV Landlord,” and a “Myth-busting and Benefits for HCV Landlords” fact sheet. The website also includes charts detailing the lease up process and inspection processes. Finally, the website includes landlord participation research, common forms, a COVID-19 FAQ for landlords, and several chapters of a “HCV Landlord Strategies Guidebook for PHAs.” This information is also available in the Housing Choice Voucher Landlord section of the website.
