CRHA Celebrates National Read Across America Event
This week, Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority's Board Chairman, Vice Chair, and Counsel participated in the Read Across America Event held at four (4) of its area housing communities. Each participant read from a variety of Dr. Seuss books (many decked out in their matching "Cat in the Hat" themed hats).
Children also participated by reading to their peers and enjoyed refreshments afterwards. As a bonus, each youth received a brand new, trending book of their choice to take home as a gift.
