Aspire360 Jobs Plus Initiative

In May 2021, Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority was awarded $2,300,000 in Jobs Plus Grant funding. Awarded through HUD’s Jobs Plus program, these grants support work readiness and connect public housing residents with employment, education, and financial empowerment services as part of an evidence-based model proven to help public housing residents find and keep jobs. Read more about how the program and how PHAs put their grant funds to work here.

The purpose of the Jobs Plus Initiative program is to develop locally-based, job-driven approaches that increase earnings and advance employment outcomes through work readiness, employer linkages, job placement, educational advancement, technology skills, and financial literacy for residents of public housing.

Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority's Jobs Plus program (Aspire360) is in the initial kick-off phase.  Additional details will be provided in the coming months.
